This isn't a GW2 community event, but this is the best place I've seen to place this. House Fexdrion is hosting some old-school Eye of the North dungeon events with a twist. We're doing them completely smashed! Last week we went into Oola's Lab and got beat on, but eventually won out. This week we're upping the stakes and are going to take on Fendi Nin in the "Shards of Orr" dungeon.
We will meet up in Vloxx's Falls at 9PM CST May 16th.
This is a run completely for fun and isn't to be taken too seriously. We're doing this to have a laugh and get some good footage of us getting our butts beat. Its completely cool to bring any off-the-wall ideas or specs to the event, like running with starter gear, or with a build that doesn't use a single profession skill from you're primary, running naked, and of course running the event drunk. (makes targeting enemies really....... interesting. Fuzzy screen and all that)
If we get a high enough turn-out for the event, I'd love to do a drunken footrace through the dungeon by having two (or more) groups running the dungeon with oddball handicaps and see who makes it back first. If that proves to be a success, we can totally stream the next event with all the groups on side-by-side streaming so everyone can laugh at our attempts at progress.
