I'm glad you decided to launch this project, definitely interested in seeing where it goes. Now, to business!
I decided to create an account on the right hand side of the main page. The account creation link directed me towards the tentonhammer account creation webpage. This was expected as this is an affiliated website. I created my tentonhammer account, came back over the gw2hub and tried to log in with the credentials I had just set up. I log in successfully only to realize that I was pretty sure I made a mistake entering my in my password. I log out, attempt to log back in with my account name and a password I know is wrong. I was still able to log in without problem.
You may already be aware of this but if not, I wanted to make sure to bring it to your attention.

Wow, yeah. I tried this too. Doesn't seem to matter what you put in for password to log in...

I'm investigating the login oddity you described now, and will see if I can reproduce what you described.
I thought perhaps gw2hub had seen/validated that I was logged in on TTH's website and through some kind of bug it let me enter in whatever password. That's not the case. I tried logging into a randomly entered combination for a username/password and it logged me in under that name as well.

One of our technical wizards is looking into the issue now, so hopefully we'll have this resolved shortly. Gotta love bizarre launch day issues. :)
